The Leitner Clinic seeks to hire a full-time human rights clinical teaching fellow for the 2010 – 2011 academic year. The Human Rights Clinical Teaching Fellow willdevelop Clinic projects in partnership with human rights organizations; supervisestudent work on Clinic projects, including fieldwork abroad; and co-teach the companion human rights advocacy course. The Leitner Clinic faculty director will supervise the fellow. Qualifications: Candidate must have: 1) J.D. degree or equivalent (no 2010 J.D. Candidates, please); 2) strong academic background in international human rights law; 3) strong experience in international human rights advocacy as exhibited by post-graduate human rights work; 3) experience and/or interest in teaching or supervising law students. Although all applications are welcome, applicants with background or interest in Latin America and Spanish language ability are strongly encouraged to apply. Salary: The salary is $55,000 and includes health benefits. The fellowship term will begin in August 2010.
